1. There's something very Hunger Games about blue lipstick

I wonder what Katniss's prep squad would say almost Illamasqua's Lipstick in Apocalips ($24.60, and part of the new Human Fundamentalism collection). Something tells me information technology would appeal to their Capitol sensibilities.

(Yep, I accept a bad example of Hunger Games fever…)

ii. I like to call it "Illamasqua'due south Eye Shadow in Kermit the Frog"

But that'southward its unofficial name. Officially, this matte yellowish green Powder Eye Shadow is chosen Pin ($24.50, and also office of the Illamasqua Human being Fundamentalism drove), and it only looks similar my favorite amphibian.

I recollect it's a dandy spin (or pin, 1 could say) on a bright-eyed look. To wear it, I like to pat Pivot on my lids (no fallout, yay!), sweep a modest amount of MAC Bamboo into the crease (for an easy color transition, and to give the look some depth), and and then add ii layers of Diorshow New Look Mascara (see beneath).

Springy *ribbit!* and fun.

three. Could the Diorshow New Look Mascara wand really be any smaller?

Because I don't know… It's just so tiny!

The wand attached to Diorshow's New Look Mascara ($28.50, a volumizing formula) is the polar opposite of the XXL wand that comes with the original Diorshow.

Simply pocket-size or not, this little wizard works. I've been using two coats for wispy, feathery lashes.

4. For the tape, it's non easy to look beautiful while you're spritzing…

But who cares, right? 🙂 More importantly, I think I might be addicted to this Hydrating Floral Essence spray by Tata Harper Skincare ($65).

I spritz this 100% natural moisturizing phenomenon on my confront throughout the twenty-four hours (even when I'm wearing makeup) — basically, whenever my peel feels thirsty.

Ingredients: H2o (Aqua), Rosa damascena flower water, Citrus aurantium (Neroli) distillate, Aloe barbadensis foliage juice, Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) flower water, Hamamelis virginiana (Witch Hazel) distillate, Leuconostoc ferment filtrate (radish root extract), Sodium hyaluronate (naturally produced fermentation), Salix alba (Willow) bark extract, Centella asiatica (Gotu Kola) excerpt, Oryza sativa (Rice) extract, Aloe barbadensis leaf juice powder*, Soy peroxidase (derived from soy), Superoxide dismutase (derived from horseradish root)

Hella pricey, yeah, but I actually think my peel looks fresher and plumper when I utilize this (and doesn't feel every bit tight).

five. In a word, Laura Mercier's new Oil Free Supreme Foundation rocks

I just started wearing information technology this week and honey, love, LOVE the stuff.
